Hello Haverhill Families,
We are excited to welcome back our students, families, and staff for what promises to be a year full of growth, learning, and opportunity. Whether you are joining us for the first time or returning, know that you are a valued part of our HPS community. Our staff has been hard at work preparing for an exciting year, and we are ready to provide a safe and supportive learning environment, encourage academic excellence with curiosity and creativity, and nurture strong relationships with students, families, and our community. Together, we will make this a memorable and successful year for every student!
The 2025-2026 Bus Schedules are posted, and you can find them on our website. Please remember that schedules are subject to change, and we will keep the most up-to-date information on our website. The first few weeks of school can be challenging with bus routes. Please be patient with us as we may encounter delays. The Transportation Department, Schools, and District will notify families if there are any delays. Follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and X; we will update you on those changes as they are received.

- Stay informed and connected with your child’s school with our Parent/Student Portal! Access grades, attendance, schedules, and important updates anytime, anywhere. The Parent/Student Portal keeps families informed and students on track for success. If you have any questions, visit our website for helpful information.
- Our Hillie Athletes are gearing up for a great fall season of competition. For registrations and schedules, visit haverhillhillies.com.
- In September, our Discovery Club/Access 21 Before and After School Care will start, and they are now accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year. Visit their website to apply.

We are excited to announce that the Haverhill Public Schools ESP Contract has been officially APPROVED, which means we’re hiring! If you or anyone you know is an incredible person, we would love to meet with them. HPS is a great place to work, offering a supportive community, opportunities for professional growth, and the chance to make a real difference in the lives of our students.
Lastly, regular school attendance is crucial for a child’s academic and social development. Missing just a few days can cause a student to fall behind, affecting their ability to read on grade level, keep up with lessons, and build critical social skills with peers. To help your child maintain good attendance, establish consistent routines for bedtime and mornings, avoid scheduling appointments or trips during school hours, and talk to your child about the importance of being present and on time. If you notice a pattern of absences or your child seems anxious about school, communicate with their teachers or a school counselor to identify and address any underlying issues.
