Dear Haverhill Families,
As we approach the winter break, I’m always impressed by how much our students accomplish in such a short time. Your hard work, commitment, and determination throughout the fall are reflected in the many successes we’ve seen. This is a time to pause, recharge, and recognize the progress we’ve made together.
To our students: I’m proud of the effort you put in, whether it’s in the classroom, on the field, or in your community. Your curiosity, resilience, and creativity continue to inspire all of us. I hope you enjoy some well-deserved time off with your loved ones.
To our staff: Thank you for your continued dedication to our students. Your energy and commitment make a real difference, and I’m grateful for all you do. I hope you take this time to rest and return ready for the new year.
To our families and community: Your support plays a crucial role in our success, and we appreciate the partnership in providing the best education for our students. We look forward to continuing that work in the year ahead.
All schools will reopen on Thursday, January 2, 2025. During this break, I encourage you to take time to recharge, whether that’s enjoying the outdoors, reading, learning something new, or simply spending time with those who matter most. The second half of the year will bring new opportunities for growth and learning.
On behalf of the Haverhill Public Schools District, I wish you all a peaceful and joyful holiday season. May the new year bring health, happiness, and continued success.
Margaret Marotta, Ed.D.
Superintendent of Haverhill Public Schools
