Haverhill Public Schools – Community Schools

A community school within Haverhill Public Schools serves as a hub for community services and support. Community Schools operate through a dedicated Community School Coordinator (CSC) who assesses needs, targets results, and works closely with school administration, staff, students, and families. The school partners with local organizations through the CSC to provide resources such as tutoring, health services, counseling, and after-school programs. The goal is to remove barriers to learning by addressing students’ academic, social, and emotional needs, with families and community members actively involved in shaping programs and services. Overall, a community school strengthens both student success and community well-being. A.B. Consentino Middle School and Paul Nettle Middle School currently offer community school resources.
