I hope each of you had a restful and rejuvenating holiday break. As we begin the new year, I am grateful for your continued dedication to our students, schools, and community. The start of a new semester brings fresh opportunities to build on our successes and tackle new challenges with the same passion and commitment that have defined this district.
As we step into 2025, let’s remember the importance of collaboration, innovation, and support for one another. We invite you to visit our website for the district calendar, school websites for all school and district event information, and haverhillhillies.com for all sports-related information. Our students work hard; we hope you join us on the sidelines or in the audience to cheer them on as they showcase their talents.
As a reminder, we have information on our website regarding Outdoor Recess/Weather Conditions and Snow Cancellations. Living in New England can sometimes lead to challenging and unexpected changes in the weather. Please prepare as much as possible for these events.
Lastly, school attendance is one of the most important factors in student success. Every day in the classroom is an opportunity to learn, grow, and build new skills that last a lifetime. When students miss school, they miss valuable lessons, friendships, and experiences that help shape their future. Parents, caregivers, and students let’s prioritize attendance and ensure we’re setting up every student for success!
I am excited about the new year’s opportunities, and I look forward to working with each of you to make the second half of the school year a success. Together, we will continue to foster a positive, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment for all our students.
Wishing you all a smooth and successful start to the new year. Let’s make it a great one!
Margaret Marotta, Ed.D.
