Dear Haverhill Families,

I am amazed at how fast the school year is progressing. As we head into April Vacation, I want to take a moment to thank you for your continued support. Our students and educators have shown incredible dedication and resilience, and I am proud of the progress we’ve made together. This time of year offers all of us—students, staff, and families alike—a valuable opportunity to pause, reflect, and recharge.

Schools will reopen on Monday, April 28, and we look forward to finishing the school year strong. As the end of the year approaches, students will receive information about school events, projects, deadlines, progress reports, and report cards. To help them keep track of this information, log into our Student/Parent Portal for the most up-to-date information. There is also an APP that you can download to your mobile device for FREE, and this information is available at your fingertips. For more information on this, visit our Technology @ Home web page, which has instructions on how to sign up!

If you want something to do during vacation, Spring Sports are in full swing, and our Hillies are thriving! Visit the Hillie Athletic website for complete schedules during vacation week! Our Community Partners at the Haverhill Public Library also have a week of activities planned that you can find on their events calendar. While there, pick up a book or two and catch up on reading!

Whether you’re traveling, spending time with loved ones, or simply enjoying some well-deserved rest, I hope this break brings joy, renewal, and the chance to create special memories.

Wishing you a safe, restful, and happy April Vacation!

Dr. Margaret Marotta
